We have a fantastic growth opportunity with our transportation team where your work will directly impact and influence the company's service to its customers, employees and vendors.   

As a Transportation Coordinator you will be at the forefront of the Logistics Team:  

• Providing excellent service to customers, drivers and team members. 
• Developing the transportation schedule and coordinating all inbound and outbound shipments. 
• Ensuring communication is top notch and all parties are working together as a team to complete orders.
• Tracking assets to ensure equipment is accounted for.
• Executing seamless coordination between the transportation office and other departments.
• Providing backup support to other team members.
• Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, changes and delivery expectations.
• Monitor routes to ensure on-time performance.
• Resolve transportation issues, delays or emergencies promptly.

• Normal hours will be 7:30 to 4:00 pm M-F and one Saturday per month from 8 am to 12 pm

Requirements to Excel in this Role

• Great customer service, organization and attention to detail are a must in this role
• Must be comfortable with computers and have an ability and desire to learn new programs
• A critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to shift from one task to another with ease and multi-task continuously
• Prior logistics experience is not required but is helpful
