Responsibilities of the Asset Identification Technician

• The Asset ID Tech will be responsible for inspecting and sorting incoming electronics.
• Correctly identifying and recording assets into ERP system.
• Maintaining an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Adherence to all R2/RIOS guidelines (will train).
• Processing material for Certificates of Recycling.
• Other duties as assigned in throughout the facility.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• General knowledge of computer components required. 
• Basic computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Ability to work skillfully with both hands constantly; independently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds routinely; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, push, pull, and twist throughout the day and perform repetitive motion activities.
• Experience with basic hand tools is preferred.
• 0-2 years technical experience.
