Didion Orf Recycling is a leader in the recycling industry, specializing in the recovery and processing of scrap metals and electronics. We are committed to environmental sustainability and responsible recycling practices. We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead to join our team. 

This role is ideal for someone with previous team lead, supervisory, or leadership experience in a warehouse or Shipping/Receiving environment.

The Shipping and Receiving Lead will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and participating in inspection and inventory of all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Verifying items received using the ERP system and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Ensuring all materials are packaged, labeled, and staged correctly for shipment or processing.
• Performing quality control checks on purchased materials and providing feedback to the team.
• Leading by example when loading and unloading trailers and containers quickly and safely.
• Accurately documenting and verifying incoming and outgoing weights.
• Coordinating material flow to dismantlers and other internal departments.
• Organizing and maintaining inventory areas to ensure efficient workflow.
• Promoting and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment (general housekeeping).
• Assisting in training and mentoring new team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1–2+ years of experience in a team lead, supervisory, or leadership role (preferred).
• 2+ years sit-down forklift experience.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• Strong face-to-face and radio communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with both team members and customers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to coach and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment.
